Tropopause and the UTLS

Summary: The goal of this DynVar Research Topic is to advance our understanding of the role of the tropopause in the dynamics and variability of the coupled troposphere-stratosphere system. This includes both tropical and extratropical regions. Specific areas of interest are the dynamics and variability of the tropical tropopause layer (TTL) and the tropopause inversion layer (TIL).
